Nike’s classic Nike SB Dunk High Premium SB has made a surprising comeback in the past year, slowly returning to the Swoosh’s active lineup for the first time since 2016. This week, we have an early look at an interesting new “Aquamarine” pair that is popping up on release calendars. The Nike Air Presto is making a comeback in 2021, after slowly returning last year in the form of several highly sought-after retro colorways. Now, the Swoosh has spent the first quarter of 2021 rolling out new colorways, from simple “Essentials” style single colors to brilliant gradient pairs like last week’s “Sunset” release. Today, we have an early look at the Air Presto in an upcoming “Aquamarine” color scheme, which adds some interesting new details to the vintage running shoe. First, the Presto’s bootie-like upper features an all-over geometric pattern in blocky, 8-bit like style. The Presto’s signature TPU cage comes in the namesake “Aquamarine” color, while lime glow Swooshes adorn the midsoles. The tongue is where things get interesting, featuring an inverted Swoosh with a jagged, lightning-bolt-like cut through it. The tongues also feature a “20/21” mark at the top, possibly alluding to 2020 and 2021 being the 20th and 21st anniversaries of the storied sneaker.
Jordan Brand has been making the kiddos a priority as of late with a handful of smaller size exclusive colorways becoming available. Now, the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom Cmft White Pink Orange will be dropping in an Arctic Punch rendition which will see a lot of demand from many sneakerheads. The Arctic Punch colorway went crazy on the Air Jordan 1 Low and Mid and now Jordan Brand looks to replicate the demand on the Air Jordan 8. Set to release in PS and GS sizes, the shoe arrives for the kiddos and the ladies who are lucky enough to squeeze into GS sizes. Featuring a white perforated leather upper for a base, the blank slate is brightened up by Peach, Cream, and Pink overlays. The tri-colored effect continues on the tongue branding and the heel while a white midsole and pink rubber outsole are placed in at the bottoms and effortlessly completes the new rendition.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Canyon Rust Black Purple Smoke has been surfacing in more and more colorways and now for the Spring season, the newer Dunk-inspired model has surfaced in a “Sea Glass” colorway. Officially slated for a Sea Glass, Hyper Crimson, Steam, and Sail colorway, the Dunk Low Disrupt will provide you a great silhouette for the warmer months all while being featured in a great colorway that will complement any spring outfit you throw its way. The upper arrives in a Sail mesh base while Sea Glass overlays arrive in leather which matches the laces, sockliner, and tongue label. To add just the right amount of pop, Hyper Crimson paints the Buy Aviators Ray-Ban Earglasses logo on the sides along with the heel tab. Sail and Sea Glass lastly are applied to the rubber soles which finishes off the new design.
