You can factory reset the router if the default password listed above does not work to log into the device. To conduct a factory reset on your TP-Link router, follow the procedures listed below. A tiny pin is required.


Step 1.

When the device is turned on normally, locate the reset button on the back and press it down for 10 seconds with the pin. The router has been successfully reset if you see all the lights flash, turn off, and then start flashing once more. At this point, you can release pressure on the reset button.

Step 2.

You can proceed to the Router Login Guide above and login to the router with the default password once your router has restarted because it will have reset the password to its default state.
