In November of 2015, I pulled the trigger, and I bought a Goose Parka (Tuckernuck was gracious enough to provide it to me at a wholesale price) in a beautiful slate green gray color. I kind of took a shot in the dark with the style and size (there were seriously no good reviews about it that I could find!!), and it ended up working out great.

In a release, the brand describes the women behind the parka designs, saying: "The designers of Project Atigi are mothers and grandmothers, nurses and teachers, office workers and small business owners - but when they pick up a needle and thread, they become something else: designers." It goes on to explain how each of the 18 women were sent kits which includes the brand's Arctic Tech fabric, fur for trimming, and zippers and lining.

Canada Goose, Canada Goose Vests despite being ubiquitous and oversaturated, is reliable, if boring. The coat is filled with 625 fill power fill power indicates the quality of the down; in this case, one ounce of down can cover 625 cubic inches North American duck which is pretty hilarious for a brand called Canada Goose down which is pretty good, but not excellent. The manufacturer claims that it can withstand temperatures - 25F and below, which I believe, because the coat has kept me quite warm with a thick sweater and a Uniqlo HEATTech t - shirt underneath in current Arctic - like conditions.
