An avid player of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has created an adorable and spooky version of the town of Salem that was inspired by a well-known series on Netflix. One player has designed their territory in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to resemble an adorable version of the historical town of Salem by making use of the creepy-looking furniture from the game's newest expansion. This fan of Animal Crossing: New Horizons wanted to take things a bit further with the canvas that is their island, which has become a setting for many Halloween movies, shows, and stories over the years. Salem has become a setting for many Halloween movies, shows, and stories.

There are very few villages in Animal Crossing: New Horizons that look exactly the same as one another. This is because there is a wide variety of furniture available for players to choose from and arrange however they like both inside their homes and outside on their islands. Players in New Horizons begin with nothing, just like they do in every other Animal Crossing game, and have to work their way up to a larger house and a larger village over the course of the game. Once players have reached the endgame of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, they are free to customize their towns however they see fit.

This particular player decided to change their setting from Wednesday onward to Salem.

  • A user by the name of Mrswilliamson30 on Reddit has posted a number of screenshots of their Animal Crossing: New Horizons island, along with a map that details specific areas of the town such as the carnival, cemetery, Nevermore Academy, a cave, and a crescent moon-shaped pond.

  • The villagers that belong to Mrswilliamson30 can be found in the lower-right corner of the map.

  • The shopping center, which has other significant areas surrounding it, and the majority of the rest of the village are both based on the Salem concept.

  • Mrswilliamson30 has designed eight unique shirts and one dress that are all based on the Netflix series Wednesday.

  • She was inspired to create these items after watching Wednesday.

  • In continuation of the Wednesday visuals, Mrswilliamson30 has personalized their residence so that half of it is decorated in black and white, while the other half is decorated in bright and cheery colours, similar to the dorm room that the titular hero shares with Enid Sinclair.

  • In order to more accurately portray Nevermore Academy, a portion of the village in Animal Crossing: New Horizons features a castle wall with an archway that players can run through on their way to class.

This archway is represented by what appears to be the basement of the player's house. The carnival in Mrswilliamson30's Animal Crossing: New Horizons town is not as robust as the one that is featured in the Netflix series; however, a nearby cafe looks exactly like Weathervane from Wednesday, complete with the check-out counter and a large number of seating options.

There has been a glimpse at another player's Animal Crossing: New Horizons house that looks similar to Mrswilliamson30s, but extending the theme to the whole island has resulted in what is possibly the most charming version of Salem from Wednesday. Mrswilliamson 30s house is located on the island of Salem.
