Connect and remotely log in, use a computer as a console to connect to network products, and configure network devices through the computer.

Hardware connection, connect one end of the Console cable to the serial port of the computer and the other end to the Console port of the network device.

Software installation requires installing terminal simulation software on the computer to log in to network devices. The installation method of "Hyperterminal" hyper terminals usually uses more secure CRT software.

Follow the prompts for installation, where the interface to be connected should be selected as "COM1", the port speed should be selected as "9600", data flow control should be selected as "none", and default values should be used for everything else. After logging in, you can configure the network device.

The Ruijie switch enables communication with different network switches on the same VLAN. We know that the same VLAN can communicate completely within the same switch, so for the same VLAN on different switches, if not configured, it cannot communicate.
